Relic Guards? - Phoenix Freeshard

I think they’d be pretty cool to have. I’m curious what you guys think.

Mid's guards would be AFK or run directly to flags

They would only work if all 6 relics are behind the keep walls.

And seeing as its hard enough to even take back a solo relic, even if its sat in a normal keep, behind the relic gates would just be pointless as it has been proved, Hibs can easily sit behind the gates with lesser numbers and hold off a zerg.

I say YES

Make harder to get the Relic hold in Relic Temple adding purple "uber guards" and an high level Lord in the Relic Temple ...
Attackers have to deal with those guards and also a low number of defenders can try to fight back with their supporting guards.

Relics taken in other realms must stay in normal outer keeps WITHOUT relic guards

I say YES

Make harder to get the Relic hold in Relic Temple adding purple "uber guards" and an high level Lord in the Relic Temple ...
Attackers have to deal with those guards and also a low number of defenders can try to fight back with their supporting guards.

I agree.

Hoarding other realms relics behind the relic gates was an issue for months after NF launch.

Add keep guards ONLY for the main realms relics

Make it so the relic chief is actually the deity who’s relic it is! If you want to take Mjollnir you have to fight Thor and other aesir to take it! Take Lugh’s spear from Lugh! Would be epic!

Ofc if change comes (I hope soon ) relics have to reset

+1 for uber guards. Was common way on live,- makes no sense they are not implemented here.

We know how to protect our relics .... And also how to take others

Maybe some other realm need a little help to protect their relics ... And also maybe really need guards at docks

In my opinion Uber guards can be a good change ... if you disagree explain and argument why ... no need at all of sarcasm ....

But maybe Mids are too used to be toxic

I have my opinions, that can be right or wrong, and i have the freedom to write here my opinion.
I think Mid had all the tools to compete vs other realms .... i dont believe at all that classes are so hard unbalanced as mids cry about.
Mid is the ONLY realm that have all 3 cc aoe ... stun mezz and root .... need only to be used in the right manner ...
Pilz show in 5 days with a toon low RR that mid can compete vs Hib and alb, taking a relic against the OP Hib classes in zerg ...
It is boring have every day a mid player calling for new nerf on Hib classes ... And i'm tired to hear all that whining ... So i reply.

Back to the subject, I dont talk about a keep up lvl 10 how on official, but only to add uber guards and a Lord on relic Temple. And if it's empty because no one came to defend ..... it is a player fault and Devs can do nothing about that.
