reason to take Relics

I have a suggestion on taking an enemies Relic

5000 feathers
2000 RPs
200g

Each player that gets credit on placement of relic in keep
The relics can also give an added bonus to RPs, gold and XP


You can only earn this if you have both your relics when you take the enemies.

You don't earn this for taking your relics back.

The relics on this server are pointless, so I get what you're trying to do, but even with them being mostly-useless they switch realms almost every day already; I don't think they need to give more rewards for taking them.

they do have the annoying side effect of keeping you in the pk after release - so they got the going for them

What if your Realm can keep an Enemies Relic for more than 3 days? can not accrue meaning once 3 days you don't gain anything else except if you take a different relic. Then depending on your lvl you get a set amount of Feathers/RAs/Gold.

Keeping 1 Enemy Relic for more than 3 days.
depending on lvl

lvl 50 5000k feathers 500g 2000 RPs
lvl 40 4000k feathers 400g 1500 RPs
lvl 30 3000k Feathers 300g 1000 RPs

If you have 2 enemy relics at the same time then that can overlap and stack the rewards.

The problem with relics is that it shows clearly who the dominant realms are at all times either through numbers or coordination.

Hence enemy relics were moved to normal keeps to make the swapping back and forth faster and avoid the fate of other freeshards where one realm owns everything

If you make then too important it upsets fragile balance, if too trivial, only title farmers will go for them.

I dont think we have the right balance yet but better than other servers. But it's missing a quality of epicness.

You would have to make them as valuable to defend as they are to take, otherwise it is simply what has been already said....

If you trigger the relic timer (cant leave PK for x time after death) you should get a penalty not a bonus.

I like it.

an alternate:
5000 feathers
2000 RPs
200g

for removing a relic from an enemy relic keep, given at the time of the removal for all attackers of that realm inside the keep.
and
for picking up an own relic during transition, given at the time of the removal for all players of that realm inside clipping range. this needs a cooldown of 60min or so.

and
introduce the normal rp tick on relic keeps.

this would reward getting a relic and, even better, reward the recapture.

No we obviously need to increase the realm timer to 24hr because too many people are realm swapping for the relics/zerg action etc...oh wait that never happens.

I meant the timer after release that ports you into portalkeep when relic is moving
I'm perfectly fine with the realm timer as it is
