Hello all,
Most players don't like the time spent buffing.
This time adds up to the already long time creating groups.
This mean that the time actually roaming / fighting is reduced => less fun / more frustration => population decrease.
This frustration is increased with casual players who :
- Can't keep up with who is buffed or not.
- Can't read chat to see who is notifying buff missing.
- Don't know / remember which buff should be distributed to which class and in which priority.
What I am proposing is to create a one-click button for any buffing char to buff instantly all char in its group with the following conditions :
- You are out of combat for 60 sec. To avoid abuse during fight and after a rez.
- Based on priority per class or class type. Example : caster : d/q > acuity > s/c. This could be customized with an interface with categories/classes.
- Based on class present in group : for example if 2 druid/cleric/shaman, the buff will be mixed to mitigate death of one buffer.
- Based on existing buffs power to avoid overwriting players who prefer to use charge.
- Based on all grp members in and out of range. To avoid buffing issues when members have not ported yet.
- Based on fair distribution mechanism. 1 buff to all, then 2nd buff to all before adding more buffs to other chars.
- Include resist buffs.
