Last Thread: https://forum.playphoenix.online/get-involved/suggestions/28111-proving-grounds-premades-and-disband-command#153911
Since the last thread was locked and derailed a bit because people who don't even play the event came into the thread without any constructive criticism, i'll reopen it once again. If it's get locked again just for the sake of it, ok then i at least know which direction devs want to have the event and are not open for suggestion whatsoever.
Flaws of the event were pointed out clearly and nobody suggested to cut friend groups completely just to balance the event more evenly between pugs and premades.
It's easy to be ignorant towards - maybe but just maybe - a minority who die through the event than actually having fun while doing it. Normal xp zones are empty, rvr almost dead as xp zones so there is no doubt people still join the event and the numbers are being high, even with the struggle they have in a group without cc, heal, speed, the right dps or all together.
I invite all devs and premade people to level up a toon in a pug while recording their fun. I'm really curios how fast and full of fun they grind their way up with pugs and how the disband command without a timer has no negative impact on those pugs, which makes them even worse vs premades.
Initial Post:
I can't believe this features are still in, especially with the /disband command having no timer.
It's hard enough for a random group which might actually have a good enough setup, but then the speed or healing class is disbanding, because he simply don't think this will work out. Most of the time the group falls apart and others disband as well and people clicking the disband button like mad men.
Yes it is fun to play with your friends in a premade, but it ruins the fun for many randoms, you simply can't beat a "perfect" 5 man set up who communicates with discord as a bunch of randoms. Wouldn't it be better if all would be equal at this event, even if this means a bunch of friends can't play together in one group? Or limit the premades to 2 or 3 people, this alone would help already. The first 20 to 30 level might not feel as it has a huge impact, but at the very latest around level 40 it feels much more impacting the fights and the frustration rises.
So my suggestion would be to put a timer on the disband command and a limit on the premades down to 2 or 3 people.
