The list of perma banned people is growing and I think it's a good thing as the rules are quite relax in my opinion.
However, as I am paranoid, I came to think that a malicious banned person could be able to hack accounts, maybe with social engineering or brute force or whatever tools there is nowadays.
in such a case that a banned person logs someone else account, would the launcher not be able to detect the guy was banned and prevent right away the login of the other account by:
- Send a mail to the user
- Lock the account until the password is changed from a non-banned location
I guess this is not a very likely scenario but I am willing to bet some people have bad passwords or bad friends (I know that the easy & true answer is that people got to be responsible but then maybe at runtime, phoenix.exe could issue a warning like: "You know your password is shit, don't you?"
