Please split the task into 2 realms

This is really just not even DAOC anymore. There is zero possibility of solo, smallman, or 8v8, just a zerg of zombies running and dying at milegates. Reduce the rewards by half and split it into two realms simultaneously so the zerg situation won't be so dreadful, as you'll never know which realm most people decided to go in or not. Make it so the tasks don't change until both have been completed or their timers have expired. Alb-Hib, Hib-Mid, Mid-Alb on a rotating cycle.

The current status is not something that will sustain for much longer; you will lose all the players who aren't just mongo-zerg casuals and they will eventually get bored too. There is no downside I can think of to having 2-realm rotating tasks at a time. These 100 vs 100 fights are amusing at times but having no other option makes the game not enjoyable.

I think that they should revert the tasks back to the other system and take a look at the new tasks and evaluate/change it before putting some of it back in.

1. There appears to be a bug or two present which is crashing the server.
2. The old system had tasks to attack keeps and then another and another, etc. There is no incentive to take keeps in this system.

So roll it back, imo, and then work on it. Ask for player feedback.

The op makes a point. This reminds me of Six Flags Over DAOC. Lots of bells, lots of whistles, lots of fun zergs, lots of creativity and cool ideas from the devs . . .

But, maybe sometimes a little less is more?
