is it always active for everyone?
Then i would suggest to only have it active for people that used the instant cast buff-command (not resetting the timer when that command is used)

Besides, it's 30seconds...it's really not that big of an issue

It depends.
Let's say you are fighting and dying at Lord for your Tower to uphold the direct Port to the Keep.
Those 30 sec may be the reason you can't port to the Keep after a lost tower fight, as the time 'till the Lord is slain by the enemy may be to short, which you could easily do if there weren't a 30sec timer.

But besides that, i really can't think of many other scenarios where the timer could be detrimental, besides just being a "thing"/minor nuisance.

so i'am 50/50 on this one.

to be honest, that example is more of a reason FOR the (a) timer

someone who has just died in the defense, shouldn't be able to immediatly port into the keep

I think it's mainly annoying for skalds who would normally be halfway to Trelle by the time they do their buffpot and now have to wait 30s for no reason. Kind of niche but I support him!

True, as a skald you really dont need much. hit the healer, pop a pot, and port all within 3-5 sec. The timer stops that now.

Anyway. You cant please everyone.

I don't understand why it was added. It is mildly annoying though.

To keep people from "graveyard rushing" while fully buffed due to the /buff command being implemented. I didn't think it was necessary at first, but after some thought I've switched sides to be with the devs; Phoenix players have proven they will abuse any and all mechanics possible to gain even the slightest edge.

Where are you able to port to that this would ever be a problem?

Could still implement it so just ppl who use the new /buff command get the timer. For small men without buffer it's 30s of annoyance.

30 seconds is... not even close to a long time. Hell, just recasting my pet and waiting for the rest of the timer on my buff pot is long enough that I've never once been told that I can't port yet. What on earth is so crucial about porting in under 30 seconds? Unless you're trying to use the strategy described below, which would be lame, I can't think of any good reason to have to port that fast.

When defending a keep or tower.
