One simple QOL change to make Spiritmaster Summoning spec (somewhat) RvR viable

Add the Cabalist pet runspeed spells into the Spiritmaster summoning line (if necessary, remove the SM pet snares, they are useless).

As it currently stands, spiritmaster pet is only good as an intercept/meat shield, as it can never catch a sprinting player. By adding a runspeed buff to the pet, it would be viable (similar to the hunter dog, or cabalist pet with run buff).

What would you be giving up tho to get this? Spec wise dark + sub spec to demezz won’t leave you enough points most likely. For me, the demezz wouldn’t be worth giving up.

It might not create a new optimal spec, but it would allow the line to be used for some variety - some variation on dark ~30, supp 19, summoning 24+ would let the SM give up some raw lifetap power in favor of having both demezz and rez, and a useful pet for catching runners/persistent interrupt, with enough dark to still be a strong nuker, just not a lifetap/moc'er to the same degree as 47 dark. Juggernaut could then be interesting (as well as wild minion).

It'd be a fun spec if pet could chase people and the pet snare proc rate was much greater as well (would create a kiting spec for SM).

Don’t the sm pet stun?

Yes they proc a stun, but also get a buff in summoning line that can additionally proc a snare.

instead of a speed buff how about the snare becomes instant cast with high rate of resist to equate to a proc chance

The problem is that a pet can never catch up to a sprinting player - even if one stun delays them (if the player forgot to run prior to the pet reaching), as soon as it wears off, the player continues to sprint and the pet can never reach them.
