Sort of inspired by a thread about top solo players in the RvR subforum.
In the same way a solo kill is only earned when a player kills another without any outside help, a solo death would be a time when a player essentially yields a solo kill to someone.
Put another way, it's when a player dies to only one other player. It's probably obvious, but I think you'd only get a "solo death" if you were ungrouped at the time. So it's when you die to only one player and you are also ungrouped, since obviously someone can get a solo kill even though the person they killed was not solo.
What's the point? It'd make for (more) meaningful comparisons between players, particularly of a given class. If you compare for example all of the Nightshades by their solo kills, what you mostly find out is who has played the longest. If you divide solo kills by deaths you get something a little more meaningful, but dividing solo kills by my proposed solo deaths stat would give you something even narrower in scope.
It'd also be useful for visible solos who have racked up many deaths from 8 mans etc. You could more meaningfully compare a solo visible's kills/deaths ratios to that of a non-visible solo player.
For me personally as a solo Champion it'd be interesting to see how many of my deaths in a given play session were from being rolled by an 8 man and how many were "legitimate."
