Nerfing RAs will Ruin RR Progression

I understand that DAOC was often overly based around powerful RAs and their cd timers, but that was part of the appeal of ranking up.

The nerfs to many RAs such as damage RAs not only cripples many classes and playstyles, it makes unlocking these abilities less rewarding.

Grinding RR takes a long time, and what is the point if the unlocks are so underwhelming?
What other form of progression is there in RvR?

I think it is in order to balance tank and caster at high ranks, caster are defenitly too op compared to tank grp especially with the recent dmg nerf

We are talking about caster that have almost the same nuke power than in toa but not facing any banelord.

@defiasbandit u should start playing an other game dude...you are annoying everywhere i read your name is in...

@sei typical tankplayer on hib i guess? whining about tank dmg is really absurd, show me how a single caster can nuke a tank down when resis are up. but on the other side of things, a tank can kill a caster pretty damn easy.

sure when debuff is up, casters are nuking for good dmg but u need at least 2 or even 3 people to kill something with the new RA/healpower etc...so please stop the whine allready.

how does the tank ever reach the caster in a 1vs1 situation....

but 1vs1 isn't the basis for balancing anyways

(and i am not saying either tanks or casters are too strong...i don't know myself, but the arguments presented currently are weak on both sides)

I guess I just close this thread as there is no real suggestion. In general we only "nerf" RAs to balance the game not to cripple any classes or playstyles.
