Trying to cast a pet-casted spell on an enemy at or near max range has become a steep risk to necromancer's with respect to spells consuming power without an effect taking place even when they are not interrupted or amnesia'd due to the target moving out of LOS or spell range.
My suggestion is to, upon a pet-casted spell completing its cast, refund power if the target is no longer inside LOS or spell range.
My follow-up suggestion is to then refund any spells that were queued with this completed pet-cast that too now fail LOS or spell range check as they simply do not get fired
A 3rd tangently related suggestion is to look at power consumption on spell casts wiped by amnesia and their queued followups consequently being wiped at the same time
