Melee 1st attack QoL

Has reducing unstyled attack radius been considered? I am pretty sure this is how live helps high latency players not 'miss' (unstyled autoswing) their 1st style attack. There are very few reasons people would want to unstyled while playing a melee, lag being the biggest reason it happens might be a fixable issue.

Right now when playing outside Europe, it is difficult to style on the 1st round as you approach an enemy (and sometimes also as enemies kite). An enemies radius can be tough to judge with lag + movement. If you press a style a moment too soon, often well in-range but client says you are not, then you will autoswing unstyled attack as you approach even when spamming a style @ 10x per second (exaggeration but spamming the button, like an anytime, and still 1st attack is somehow unstyled. Happens all the time).

I think this is due to unstyled swings being set to the same range/radius as styled swings; which may be a fixable issue. Here's how:

Reducing the radius of unstyled attacks could have this effect:
1) 1st attack attempted -> out of range or view
2) Weapons will now be out for autoswing, no way around this really.
3) Usually autoswing unstyled would trigger here. But if unstyled range was reduced, it might not, giving a little more margin of error (especially for higher latency players).
4) While still in the radius between normal and the new smaller unstyled radius, you can attempt to style again, YAY!

Effectively there would be a small area, a margin-of-error so to speak, between the 2 radius where you can style, but not unstyled autoswing. Meaning unstyled autoswings would not trigger as early/often as you approach, but you can still style from full normal range.

I think it latency issue.
I’m in central us and it always seems I am right on someone tail and cannot hit them, yet when it’s an enemy they seem to hit me from yards away

There is definitely a lag inherent to the Phoenix servers that causes some increased misses compared to live.

When you play both back to back the difference is huge.
