I want to say thank you for the Devs for making a full supp BD and supp RM much more viable in RvR. I personally have both classes and respecced both to supp and been enjoying both so far!
I think making Bone Army BDs viable would be a great boon to Midgard BGs especially. Bone Army BDs are non-existant in RvR I haven't met a single Bonedancer that is even a split spec with BA, let alone full BA. For DS/Raum everyone wants Dark BD so that leaves BA out in the cold for high end farming as well. Also Cave Shaman I see once in a blue moon in RvR unless it is relic keep defense, or possible Glenlock Faste when enemies are coming for the relic and that is their last stop. Giving life to BA spec I think would also give life to Cave sham spec in BGs because the two together would have a viable impact worth pursuing over other specs.
A few ways I can think to do this:
1. Increase AoE DoT damage so BA BDs are much more viable in BGs. This would also make Cave Shaman more viable in BGs with stacking AE DoTs having an impact. Midgard has the poorest tools for keep defense of any realm and this would help.
2. Give a spec demezz on all pets that can be used once every 10 minutes with fairly high spec, once every 5 minutes with very high spec.
3. Give a pet CC resistance level/determination/magic damage absorb buff to help resist CC and stay alive.
4. Make Juggernaut more viable by building some determination into it or having a hard limit of how long a Juggernaut can be CC'd during its 1 min. Lets say a 40-50 second hardcap on CC time so the pet has 10-20 seconds to run free.
I could definitely see a Bone Army / Supp BD split spec being very popular for BGs that would help Mid out and give life to this spec line. AE DoT stacking with sham DoT, heal pet to heal commander and other pets, pet demezz, spirit base nuke, Juggernaut could have an impact.
BA/Supp BD in keep situations would have 2 instant interrupts (LT, body debuff), ability to heal self with pet, ranged pets, and AE DoT. That helps alot vs. Sorc/Cab/Earth Wizard or baseline stun/ranger nation
