It might be confusing to people that don't have the xp item. It gives the impression that they have a quest available.

The XP item has city and NPC name. It doesn't take longer than a 60-90seconds to find someone in a small town. The only exception is main cities (Jordheim, TNN, and Camelot).

Advice channels always give me the exact location of any NPC I'm looking for in the main city.

If implemented like quest npc the icon only shows up if quest is available to the player its no biggie would just help highlight npcs

The best thing to do is to enable /wh in the game so you can ask a guard where the person is in the town and they point in the direction they are.

It's enabled; it's just not correct. They definitely point in the wrong direction.

You must not be from Hib.

Every time in TNN I ask a guard /where they point one direction (maybe SE) and say NE.

The worst part is I can ask 3 guards in a row and they will all point in different directions!!!

Nobody ever said guards cannot lie, just like the hearth spell going on cd on use and not on spell completion, the guards giving false information is our way to express hatred against our players :p

It might also be a bug, who knows :p

This is the necessary correct fix.
