Ignore account - Phoenix Freeshard

Is it possible to put in /ignore account or does it already ignore account?

/ignore account Relvinian for example?

I would certainly use this, but Relvinian is the least of my concerns for ignores.

This really needs to be a thing. If I annoy you then plz ignore me.

There are so many rude, toxic, and nasty people on this server

I don't want to ignore some guy then he logs back on to his other toon and spams more insults and stupidity.

and by all means, if you hate me, then /ignore me.

Honestly, Relvinian is sometimes annoying but means well. He is much less annoying than all the wanna-be glorious elites 8v8ers (real good people brag as starred in a video - not on /advice).

I don't agree with Relv all the time...BUT...

At least he comes in with an open mind toward balancing the game without trying to keep his favorite class OP.

I would much rather have Relv's ideas than those from people who simply don't want change because it "has always been that way".

This server is changing a LOT about DAoC so "it has always been that way" is not a valid argument for ANYTHING here.

/ignore account should be a priority LOL

I'm sure I've been contentious with a few people on here, but most of us (at least I hope I do) are pretty civil and reasonable.

The only people are forums that are the worst are those that refuse to hear opposing opinions and use the straw man approach.

Put in ignore account now, and let the beta testers keep their ignore lists.

Because some of these people in the beta are some rude, selfish, asshats.

and to hell with them.

And some are nice people, im sure.

If people are harassing you— report it the GMs.

If people are disagreeing with you and calling you out for having opinions they don’t like— welcome to life as a social human, bruh.

This is an ever growing community focused around an ancient MMORPG. Not everyone is going to be stable and reasonable. Some of these dudes started shit posting on the VN boards at thirteen. Their maturity levels and tact haven’t improved since then.

If you want to cast your opinions into this pool you have to expect you might hook some... less desirable fish from time to time. When you reel your line in and see that you’ve caught a leech or a carp ignore the stench, get that bastard off the hook, and throw it back. Occasionally you might have to dig the hook out with pliers and sometimes you might decide it’s best to cut the line entirey. No sense in upsetting yourself trying to get the bastard off, right? It’s a sunny afternoon and it looks like dinner is going to be delicious. No sense in letting a few bad fish ruin your day.
