This list of ideas is to help devs consider ways to improve the (already excellent) proving ground event. The ideas focus on improving the experience for 'casuals'. The event already appeals to casuals since it is "A Level Playing Field" with easy ways to fill a group, jump into action and good rewards even if you lose fights.
Incentive to stay with your autogroup
When you join an autogroup you get a personal 20% exp buff and also give a 3% group increase in dmg done and reduction in dmg taken. The group buff stacks to max 10%. Disbanding or leaving the game puts these buffs on a 30 min cool down.
Balance quickly built autogroup with viability
One slot is always reserved for seer/healer types.
Max of one assassin / archer per autogroup.
Votekick for afk or people who don't port
Votekick command that requires 3/5 to initiate. The player can cou ter the vote kick if they enter a command within 500 range of their group.
Group ability of some classes
Assassin / archer get 40% stoicism. This buff is removed and goes on 120 sec cool down anytime they enter/exit stealth.
More hastener type buffs
Buffers around zones as points of interest. Give speed / low lvl combined forces / low lvl endo.
Premade groups
Max group size is 4 for premade groups. Any group running with 4 ppl gets 25% rp bonus.
