The basic idea for the Event is that you can choose what realm you want to play for but you can have access to all your characters, disregarding which realm they were originally in. This means that I can choose to play for Hibernia but I can log in my Cleric, I will be treated like an inhabitant of Hibernia for the duration (until I switch back or event ends). I will see people who choose Albion or Midgard as enemies in RvR and I will be able to group with those who have chosen Hibernia.
What I find might be really fun about this event is:
- Say hello to your worst enemies and group up with them
- Say good bye to your best friends and try to kill them
- Meet those classes in RvR that you claim are not an issue while they are on your side
- Try out some outrageous group setups
- Easy way to transfer items and money between realms for those who want
- Try out the other realms Epic dungeon or other PvE stuff
- Mingle with some players that you are normally trying to kill
I don't know how hard it would be to implement such a thing and if the Staff finds it bad that you could potentially get items/money from one realm to another (I personally just think this is nice).
