1 ) First of all finding your website is a pain, there is no listing in daoc portal, or anywhere, only people who talked about phoenix inside uthgard chats can get you to find out phoenix website.

2 ) So yeah you used google and found out phoenix forum, tbh trying to find the instructions even with the search command, I couldn't find any clear link ASAP. What did i do? i've loggued on uthgard and asked there, got lucky somebody told me there was a WIKI page for phoenix, which google didnt listed, google only found the forum not the wiki.

3 ) So you got the wiki and finally click on IMPORTANT INFORMATION, in the center page you end up with a HOW TO CONNECT link, that directs you to phoenix forum... => okay back to square 1 where are instructions????

4) you actually should not click on IMPORTANT INFORMATION but you have to hover mouse on it, then click on 'how to play' that appears in the opening menu.

All of these will reduce the population, of course this is only the beta but please consider making instructions clear to improve the number of players.

5) As stated in many posts, some people have issues with phoenix.exe, especially true with vista/windows7 users

i'm on win7 - Net. 4.xx is installed

OMG AFTER 2HOURS I HAVE FOUND HOW TO FIX THE ERROR ------- the program phoenix.exe actualy tries to find mscorlib from an older .net, which comes with a fresh windows setup, so you have to go =>control panel windows => install/uninstall programs => windows features => You actually need to check and install Net . 3.XXXXX

im using windows7 and followed installations step by step religiously, patched camelot.exe then copied launcher folder in game directory, then phoenix.exe would not launch.

Stopped working

it appears to be a file that phoenix.exe is calling but can't find, probably mscorlib.dll ????
Details of error:

Windows 10 for the win ? literally just installed the patch and it was working out of the box.

As for the links to the wiki and stuff I agree that it could be more front and center on the forums

Also there is a "support center" forum for things like this and If you would like to talk to a GM about these issues you can find them on Discord easily
