There should be a shield dummy and an evade dummy as well.
I posted a thread once (or maybe a comment?) About having an instance with each realms opposing classes as a mob. Even each class with a different spec (such as a shield hero, lw high parry spec hero etc.). When the mob "dies" it respawns immediately. That way you can test your damage against the same types you would fight out in RvR. If you let the mob kill you it would be like a duel with no rez sick or any penalty.
Just have them fully buffed with a pot since everyone out in RvR is buffed at least that much. And make them have all MP gear.
