GvG List and the Current Task Zone

Would it be possible / make sense to have groups not show up on the GvG List while in the current task zone?

This would incentivize more free for all open field fights in the task zone with less set groups pulling off of fights when other players add in and would also incentivize groups looking for GvG fights to exist outside of the task zone to take advantage of the benefits offered by the list (1000 Rp's per clean fight and seeing what zone other groups are in).

I play in a GvG oriented group and we have a lot of groups playing currently during NA time. I would love to see a slight incentive for GvG groups to steer clear of the task zone in hopes that a healthy GvG ecosystem can exist while casual RvR can also exist without the threat of getting run over by 8 different set groups all night.

Would love to hear some discussion regarding this. I feel like we have a good infrastructure in place, but need to take another step or two forward.

Would also be nice for people on the gvg list to get a separate /region so I dont have to read all their insults and complaining about adding (while in the task zone...) in the regular /region

I'm not sure if this would change things that much. Most of the GvG Groups know each other and simply because a group is no longer on the list, because its in the task zone, does not mean that you have to engange them or can not pull out during a fight if someone adds. So in most cases the situation would be the same. If two groups - usually on GvG list - fight each other and a third group adds, they would yell and stop engaging each other or go on the adding group if its from another realm.

The core problem here is: what are gvg groups doing in the task zone and are those really looking just for fighting other fgs or is this more like a statement of being on the gvg list - we will respect other 8vs8, but the 8vs8 action alone is not enough at the moment and/or we dont want to fight all the time just against the same few groups (for what ever reasons) and this is why we are in the task zone.

Good point. Maybe it would be better to not have the clean fight RP reward if the fight was in the task zone?
