Event suggestion - temporary realm wall crack

What if, temporarily, say for a weekend, the realm guards and realm controls that prevents opposing realms from entering the other realm's PVE zone was taken down? Like the realm guards had too much eggnog... maybe they are greatly debuffed or just removed. Disable bind points for non-residents. A ranger could go nuts in Camelot until he got tracked down and taken out...

Might be a blast, or not so great, but might be fun to try out. Maybe if you come through and log out, you get to stay until you log back in and someone manages to find/kill you...

Maybe the realm guards defense comes/goes in waves... like every other hour its "open" / easier to get through but then beefed up for the next hour...

Personally, I think it would be awesome to see an invasion and pitched battle inside TNN or Camelot or Mag mell or what have you.

Lets make the NPC's killable by the opposing realms too...

I was actually thinking of the same thing, but a realm invasion sort of thing.

Use the old relic temple system but instead of relic gates opening taking all the keeps removes the master guards for the realm portal keeps.

Once the realm portal keeps are vulnerable a timer starts. Enemy realms can invade 1 or 2 Portal keeps for 6 hours or until the opposing realm closes the access by taking back the keeps. Which ever comes first.

Once you've invaded you can travel anywhere in the enemy realm but all the NPC's hate/attack you. You cannot breach capital cities but you can move anywhere in the mainland area to cause havoc and death to the realm.

After 6 hours or the keep chain is broken again the access disappears. If you keep this invasion to the main land area only enemy realms can still use SI zones and dungeons to level in peace if they choose not to 100% participate. Hell you can even add a realm defense bonus. increase XP gain in SI zone for the realm being attacked, and a realm RP bonus for the fighters who try to push the enemy realm back in the mainland. Either way the realm that is suffering the invasion benefits with increased XP in SI zone for the people who dont want to be involved, and an RP bonus for the fighters who do want to be involved, and the attacking realms enjoy invading another realm.

I think the idea isnt bad, but....
- Albion does have the largest zerg on most EU prime times. They would just invade the other realms and overrun them due to larger numbers. In result the game becomes unplayable for everyone of the weaker realm. not even PVE would be possible. FZ-Spawns get camped etc. It would totaly destroy the game for every mid-player.
Invasion is a nice idea, but it needs to be strictly regulated, maybe like in warhammer with the capital raids. Thus i dont expect it to happen.

I would like to see pitched battles on Salisbury plains.

All 3 can port in and cause havoc.

Hell, make it as a separate zone where the objective is to hold the line at stonehenge
