EV EVENT - Phoenix Freeshard

Event idea. Take E.V. keep and place a mob inside it. Some sort of epic boss. For ONE weekend only lock the keeps and reset the keeps to own realm. unattackable, with the exception of EV towers. Raise the HP of the EV keep doors. Place lvl 70 creature guards in the main keep area around the gates and all. Make it where the boss drops RPS and Feathers. In short..Make it where everyone HAS to fight in EV for one weekend to capture a keep worth a ton of RPS and feathers. Give players that actually capture it 20 to 30 K feathers. Idea for guards..Dragons. and Dragon sworn. Place one Dragon in middle of water. Dragon Sworn all around. Place another dragon in between the gates. With more Dragon sworn. Then place a Dragon with a ton more HP and all in the keep. Maybe 2 others one the other two pads. with a ton of Dragonsworn agro inside as well.
Maybe make the inner Dragons the ones from all three realms. Place each one on a circle inside the inner. Use the Baby dragons from Live as the ones outside the gates. Boost their HP alot. Give them aoe spells. All mobs should be 70 plus.

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun but they would have to fix the mapping lag issue first. Since all 3 maps had to be placed ontop of each other for NF not sure if they can fix that. I do love the idea and hope they can maybe figure something out. Great thinking Grump.

Mid mega zerg event doesn't sound fun; you already outnumber hib/alb combined nightly

But its ok for the 140 Alb zerg and the 90 plus Hib zerg during the day to tear Mid apart...Do not talk to me about a Mid zerg..I only get 40 to 60 a night.
Most times only 30.

And alb can not complain, they have ppl willing to lead. Albs are just weak here and cry and either log or sit in relic town. Megapixell and FoA ran a huge zerg last Thursday. You have the ppl , just not the heart. That whole realm went to shit after Gorion went to WoW Classic. Megapixell is one hell of a dood in my eyes, and alot better than most that have been leading Albs. You all just need to release and come back, just a game.

I like the idea of having an incentive to have players meet in EV, just because EV is a nice place and EV central underground cave is quite a nice setting for some kind of pvp action. However due to RVR zone, and the more than likely outcome of it that the biggest zerg realm will win it, the benefits to control EV shouldn't bring a disadvantage to other realms or an advantage to controlling realm.

Thinking about some mapping there would be nice. May be even something permanent. May be a rewarding spot to fight for, but if it's something that can be acquired safely in no-PVP zone, after novelty is gone, why would anybody take the risk to fight for it in RVR ?

Some ideas that could complete the original event suggestion to make it more friendly - without grief from underpopulated realms :
- Apply no change to the 3 towers in EV but the number of controlled towers will give a benefit to the realm attacking the Boss in central area like 1 tower = 10%, 2 towers = 30%, 3 towers = 50%
- Boss in central area doesn't loot feathers and rps as suggested : title for defeating the "beast" (let's call him beast for now). Make him really hard to kill without the 30-50% bonus
- Add participation rewards, whatever the outcome (win or die) : here comes the RPS and feathers from original idea, a bit similar to the RVR tasks
