Phoenix could use its user data, and create email campaigns to engage current and former players. I'm guessing a large portion of phoenix accounts don't post on forums and discord, where opinions are dominated by the "loud" few.
- Email surveys to accounts that suddenly log on less, to gather data on why they're playing less.: Send email to accounts that use to log on 12+ hours/week to less than 2 hours a week to ask them why they are playing less.
-Bi-weekly/monthly server video/update emails: Keep current and former players updated on changes, and upcoming events. Add a link to a phoenix youtube video, to get former players engaged excited to try Phoenix again.
I'm guessing there are thousands of dormant accounts (people that stopped playing.) It's easier to get those people back to playing through engagement, than gain new accounts.
Yes, I know this requires a resources and money (consider hiring an email marketing company), and would require attention away from other issues.
