Invading deep into enemy territory should be a commitment and have an adequate amount of risk when doing so. As it stands, enemies in a foreign realm can use dock transportation to quickly transport themselves to a keep which they can then use to port back to their realm to defend. As attacking a keep can take a good amount of time, the enemy has enough time to change priorities deep from enemy territory and go defend their homeland even if they can't port directly to the defense.
I suggest that we limit foreign dock use to the coastal docks (bledmeer, benowyc, and dun crauchon). Or even make all docks unavailable to foreign enemies. This could provide an amount of risk comparable to actually leaving your homeland to invade deep into enemy territory.
I believe it is too easy for an enemy army to run back home to defend. I also can not think of a good reason that enemies should be allowed to use those docks other than convenience. Thanks for anyone's input and I'm open to other suggestions.
