Dark Age of Dressing Up

Hi gang,

Loving the server, great job on keeping this going, hug hug etc

My question is around the angle of cosmetics and a 'transmog' system of sorts.

So there's a few things at play. Random drops as you level seem quite nicely randomized from the pool of 'regular' low-tier items (eg there are 3-4 varients of cloth torso or leather legs etc).

There is also the padding system where, although a little clunky, you can oomph your shoulder pads or boots or what have you. This is free, which is nice.

Finally, there is a true cosmetic remodelling where for a fairly inordinate cost (or so it seems, I'm a filthy pleb-noob) you can really spice yourself up with some atlantean or equally fancy.

So this is all great

But could a middle ground of transmogging be offered where by (ideally fot free :p) you can alter an item to have one of the other "low tier" appearances. I love the cloth tunic for albion for example and having to replace it with an atlantean monstrosity makes me shed tiny tears.

Additionally you can /helm off so your handsome little face can be on view but in the quest for fashion would an /arms or /hands command be possible also.

Finallllly, it would be nice if the epic armor appearances were added to the transmog options. These are quite iconic and while not something that's always a good idea for rvr, being able to slip them on now and them adds to realm ambience (esp for pve events or what have you).

Understand it's a classiqué server so don't want anything too wild but a little more appearance control would be hugely appreciated so I can more easily larp around

Thx for attending my TED talk!

**Edit,
Oh you can actually change them to look like the pretty one Though at light cost... i guess acceptable for a templated piece or what-not. Would still like any more options for appearance tweaking you guys can add

+1 on being able to do basic crafted armor skins (All 3 tiers of them please). Absolutely ridiculous you cant.

Why can't I make my characters look like their pre-ToA selves? Since you need SI chest, there's no option to revert it to a basic crafted set unless you're on classic models. But then you need to know everyone on cata models sees something totally different.
