Some of the titles you can get from contributing towards the event pool are pretty cool, and that makes it tempting to contribute. However, I have no interest in the event returning. It would be nice if there was some other realm task that required contributing the same materials and provided the same titles but wasn't linked to the event. Maybe this could be a PvE thing, like we get access to PvEing in one of the ToA or later zones (sans artis/MLs/CLs of course) for a few days if the realm contributes enough. This would also be another way to pull money and items out of circulation to control inflation, just as the leveling event currently does.
