Crafted Assasin Poisons should be better than NPC sold poisons

Give players a reason to craft and buy player made poisons. They might be a bit more powerful..perhaps last for a tic or two longer.

You can craft poisons that are not available anywhere else. They're listed under Magic Poisons.

Haste debuff (-20%?)
End use increase

I forget the other two.

Weapon smiths....armor smiths sell items that are better than npc bought. Why not alchemists ?

I just told you that there are 4 poisons that are not purchasable anywhere other than from an alchemist.

Yes they can make the NPC poisons, but they can make more than that.

The 4 poisons are actually 2 kinds..a weak and a strong version of the two types (making for 2 poisons vendors don't sell) I'm advocating that player poisons...just like player crafted weapons and armor OF ALL TYPES have some advantage and provide a reason why someone would buy player crafted vs vendor sold .

I'm not entirely sure how much support you'll get in making player-made poisons stronger than the normal, as people already see poisons as incredibly powerful.

Or are you suggesting a nerf to the NPC-bought poisons (-1 or -2 ticks, duration, whatever) and then have player-made poisons be the "new normal"?

I'm saying player made poisons should be superior. How you get there is for players and devs to determine.

You are a player. How do you propose?

The player above outlined the unavoidable decision that must be made--either NPC poisons are worse, crafted poisons are even stronger than currently, or a combination.

Devs have to decide if game balance would be lost of player potions are improved. Personally I would like to see more powerful potions.NPC potions remain as is.

These poisons sold by npc are really low alchemy skill to make... just look at it as a quality of life just like it is for archers buying arrows instead of fletching themselves. There is no reason why they should be better crafted than from npc. These are like 500 alch skill items, the barrier to make these and the cost of them is not even close to high enough to warrant more strength.

But its ok to have performance differences when comparing armor or weapons crafted vs npc vendors ? Your logic eludes me .
