I think it is better to just close DF to all realms at launch. There will be enough DF farming 3 weeks after launch, so why not have the pve zones more populated like they once were. We dont want players burning out on DF, and gaining access to DF for your realm should be special at launch.
Open DF at launch means that players are not going to use the PvE zones as much. There are so many low and mid level zones that players will just skip due to DF being open.
Additionally the frontier zones will be more active for players level 40 to 50 if df is closed to all realms. These players would be able to experience the frontier dungeons and frontier mob camps.
I get why DF is open at launch in order to prevent one realm from closing it and gaining an advantage. However, I think the best solution is to keep df closed to all realms until 3 weeks after launch, so less frequented pve spots get some more exposure.
