Charmerge of Event-Chars - Phoenix Freeshard

Since I've now got 3 lvl 50 Bards and 2 lvl 50 Druids, I was thinking that maybe we could get the option to merge the chars of the same class and level into each other? Maybe cap the RP you can transfer from one char to another to a reasonable amount (like max 100-200k or 1/4th of the character RPs)?

Just an idea since I really don't like to play Alb... and my enthusiasm to play Mid isn't much larger... and I'm not very fond of PvE'ing keeps while there's almost no one in FZ.

The only "reasonable" cap i would see in such a merge would be a total-cap of the RR that was reachable in the event, but i have the feeling that wouldn't help OP at all

And tons oif people would be upset that they have deleted mergeable chars, since it seemed they would never get use after "their" creation-event had ended

You play with friends, you end up needing to roll support/cc to help them and vice versa to make a somewhat balanced group.

Roll 2 grps in event, everyone gets a class they want and everyone plays 1 filler/supp class.

And realistically if you’re good on bard, congratulations you’re making bard. 3 bards is actually pretty rookie numbers in context of plenty of players i’d imagine.

Not a terrible idea but i doubt they’d do this. Still levelling 2 grps is gonna be faster to RR5 than out in normal rvr and the event is about the most fun form of daoc going if you can form a 5man group, excluding some of the overly try hard groups who roll same setup no variance just to win rather than actually using it to make new toons.

calling shredding through non-optimal grps with a set grp "fun" seems a bit awkward to me tbh, but ppl also enjoy adding and zerging... god knows why
for me these events are always just a pain but even without a set grp the easiest way to get 50 and 4lx in one or two days
