Change to make small men leveling cool

Actually the phoenix game bonus design incentivise 2 way of leveling.
playing full group (grind farming chain red linked mob)
or solo play only (personal Task+eggs...)

Game is not small men friendly...
if i want to group with 1 or 2 mates to do xp items or chain mobs we are going to slow leveling.
Why? for two reasons, if you group, sometimes kill not count for task (or only half what you do solo) cause mobs for you level range xp items are yellow/oranges and yellow not count in groups duo.
in additions to this the 2 or 3 players loose eggs.
sure they gain a small bonus 5% per class but what do you prefer? all kills count for task + eggs or 10% bonus xp and don't do task + no eggs...

to change this you can make this 2 changes :

First about personal tasks :
Reduce 1 color con (when grouped) and change number of players.
yellow con = 1 to 3 players
Orange = 4 to 5
Red = 6 to 8

second, change about Eggs.
why not making eggs lost gradually in small groups.
Don't give more eggs ! just split them like the Pheonix feather to a 3 players maximum.
less eggs than solo but little group bonus.
This way eggs lost be gradually balanced by bonus, and after 4 players (20% bonus) lost of eggs be totally transparent.

If you can't get more xp as a duo killing OJ mobs that drop xp items, there is nothing I can do to help you.

I can duo with any of my toons with any other class and I could still kill fast enough to out xp a solo gathering eggs.

Also if you are duoing, you SHOULD be after OJ mobs which will count to task xp. If you are only killing yellow/blue, then THAT is your problem right there.

Hell even solo by 15 you should be able to kill OJ's, let alone having a partner to increase your DPS.

With the massive xp bonus you get for dragons/reptiles/giants you should be able to gain lvls very fast duo, but of course a group will always out level you.

Eggs should stay for solo only.

And yes, I can speak from experience. I was playing my Ranger with a NS and we were easily gaining more xp together then solo.

i'm not saying it's impossible to xp duo / trio.
i don't want xp to be faster and easier.
i say the game design incentivise solo or big group xp.
and i do suggestion to make difference 1 to 8 groups xp leveling more fluid.
you speak about massive xp bonus. you know where to find all monster type for all level range?
to have a good experience on this server is all about to know perfectly the game and bonus...
- You need to know all xpitems mobs and locations and areas.
- You need to know all monsters type and switch for solo personal task (not too difficult cause there is much type).
- And now if you want have a good small men xp you say me you need to know the same but for "specific type" and at least "higher than orange" (for low task week bonus) . in clear you need to know the entire bestiary (level/locations/type) of the game.

There is no way to simply make leveling more simple and enjoyable?

By the end of the beta i made a suggestion about EGG saying egg needed at least 50% bonus. not cause i play alone, i leveled all my char in big groups.
But cause i passed time testing solo xp and giving feedbacks.
Much person on forum (even devs) say nothing be changed for egg!
Finally 3 weeks after release Eggs boosted 50%...

So i understand your point of view and yes i can answer you, you can't do nothing for me cause I do this suggestion not for me but for a global best small man leveling experience on this server.

One annoying thing is that mob locations seem to differ from old bestiarys, and the old prima guides....they're close-ish in some cases. As far as mob type and vulnerabilities it's pretty scattered....tree mobs in mid are resistant to slash, incorporeal undead are vulnerable to slash. Some snakes are animals.,,.some are reptile...

I think as time goes on, people will just learn where to level all over again. Maybe someone ambitious will put together a bestiary too.

Bonuses and incentives to one area always feel like penalties to doing something different. I find it hilarious to watch a couple solo tanks, a solo healer, and some solo casters all soloing the same mobs for collection items. In times of old they would have probably just made a group and had fun...here they just rush to the next collection item that the internet tells them where to go, and the /loc of the npc too.

I get why aiming for 48 hours to 50 seems like a good idea....I just don't get why it's an anti social rat race....just make a global xp boost and let it feel easy. Honestly seeing everybody rushing to hit a mob first reminds me of the days of scroll farming.

Reducing mob con by 1 colour is a good idea. It allows much more flexibility.

Now you can:
    Make use of spots such as yellow/orange where half of the mobs satisfy kills tasks and half do not.
    Invite that extra player to join you at the place you are hunting without it breaking the con colour limit.
    Be more flexible with the different player levels in your group without being so sensitive to the level of the highest player.
    Find good spots where you group can rotate between a camp of yellow/orange insect mobs and orange/red elemental mobs and get credit for everything!
    Group that non-optimal class and come up with creative ways for a theurgist/infiltrator duo to chain kill yellow/orange.


You've got more flexibility in your:
group size
group level range
group class makeup
...and have more potential hunting spots where exp will flow with kill tasks/mob type bonus/exp items synergy.
