I am wondering if more keep fights apart from RvR task would take place if the guards always remain on the lowest level, so it is viable to take a keep with an imperfect 8man PUG. Instead, make the doors tougher so it just takes longer to open them, so players can come and defend.
The very hard guards indirectly impose a minimum zerg size which is required to take a keep. I am not sure if that is inteded currently.
Maybe only upgrade guards on relic keeps, because those are special and the battles shall be more epic there?
Or asking the other way: What is the purpose of upgrading guards in the first place?
Maybe limitting guards to con yellow to 50 for a week or two could be a nice test during beta?
