Blade turn... why no Magic turn?

We have blade turns but no magic mitigation tool like it? I propose that the standard blade turn be given the additional property of prevention of a magical attack. The other option I see would be to create a second spell, at the same intervals as the pbt, with the pulsing magical turn. The later option would require the caster to choose between the two. I think this would be useful and empower more of those classes as well a increased priority in pvp parties.

We have magic resists buffs 24% but no physical resists buffs. To each their own mitigation tool.
Also, melee can dual wield to break bubble and still land hit, or pierce bubble.

actually there is melee absorb buffs.. bd's, animist, and necro each get a 20 minute buff they can put on people.. granted necro's wont be in an 8 man, and verd ani isnt a rvr spec.. basically makes it so mid almost always has the buff cuz those damn boneshufflers

No, bolts are still strictly magic. The only reason they're blockable or can miss is because unlike all other spells they're projectiles, but this is the only difference I think.

the irony is, that hibernia is the one realm which would be impacted by this the least. As a bard it'S really easy to put an AOE-Amnesia over the enemy group before mezzing. Even a surprise inc it would be easy to push the amnesia first and then instant-mezz.

Now lets look at the possibilities of Sorc and Healer and everyone should be able to see why it would be bad idea. Even if we ignore all other balancing implications....the example of first-inc would already get horribly changed
