As title says, dosent need to be as fast as say speed of the realm, but something to help players who dont have movement speed themselves.

All I can say to this is, thank god Uthred said they would not add any new pots or add longer duration to pots and that horses would never be implemented in RvR.
Not that it matters but the minute they do add speed boosts I am wondering how many people will leave? I know I will thank everyone for the fun memories and move on to something else. As long as what we have is the most they do to take away from the game I will keep playing.

So ignorant. Defending the speed mechanics from 2001 DAOC. Speed was always one of the biggest issues in RvR. Brilliant design. Require players to group with or play 3 of 13 classes in order to RvR. You are missing one of the few speed classes out of 13 therefore you need to run in slow motion. Then you make the comment that you don't want 1 class with everything. Sorcerer have everything including speed. CC, burst damage, dots, run speed, pets, interrupts, etc.. nice argument. Yeah it would break the game if more classes had 154% speed or potions they had to buy. Right.
Explain to me how giving more classes 154% speed affects the game? You have no argument. Yeah I wonder how many players will leave when they get tired of running around without hastener speed across 3 zones. I'm sure you'll be missed.

LOL
I won't be missed because Uthred already stated they will NOT add speed pots or speed charge items or horses for RvR.
I am not going to explain something I have stated 100's of times.
Go play Fortnite if you want everyone to have speed and everyone to have buffs and everyone to have...
I LIKE having classes that have unique abilities like speed so that in Hib I need a Bard if I want to go fast...or I take a warden/Ench if I want to just go a little fast. I also understand that if I don't take those classes I won't be going fast at all, so guess what? I get one of those classes. Simple.

Yeah that's great. It's still bad design.

In YOUR opinion...which is fine. You decide what YOU like.
In MY opinion it is perfect which is great because the dev's here happen to have a similar line of thinking as myself. If they didn't I wouldn't sit here and condemn them and tell them to stop living in the past, I would try for awhile and if it wasn't what I wanted I would move on.
The difference between you and I is, I understand this is THEIR server and I would never sit here day after day saying they need to change everything to suit what I want.
I could very well be wrong to a majority of the population, and I am fine with that, but on the other hand it seems most people in game are having a blast and loving it so far for what it is.

The guys who designed daoc agree with me.
