In Albion at least, there are many named 'miniboss' mobs that, although less bulky than the Lynn Barfog bosses, have much higher damage output and difficulty. But their (SI) feather reward is half as much as the LB bosses.
For Amphiptere and Vortanos their current drop suits them because they are definitely easier than LB.
In the case of Coliat the feather amount is tiny. Just his melee damage is huge because his level is so high in addition to the add(s) he spawns throughout the fight (which scales with groupsize) and they in turn hit much, much harder than their LB counterparts.
Ris’nir Cruss AoE's supports to death even when you warn them of his cast spam in advance. Qan’ris Duros is a straight dps mob but self DA hurts and he reguarly mezzes supports. Chieftain Toca DoTs, shield slams, and
diseases.
The bosses in Krondon are a step further difficult than the stuff in open SI between hitting harder and having painful spells combinations (nearsight+pbaoe dd / casted stun+room wide aoe). There is even a paired boss pull that both spam their own slimes. The confined aera to fight further racks up difficulty as you can't get outside of the larger radius spell range without standing inside of respawns. The one aoe DoT user ticks harder than both Bride of Red Lake and Archlich in Sidi
For Avalon City there is one particular boss that PBAoE+swing is almost instant death. Because of the location the group is confined to a narrow hallway and even being near the edge of the pbaoe 1.5-shots support.
In Darkness Falls there is a High Lord who spams instant AoE spears every interval of seconds and the occasional AoE bolt. Said bolt with an unlucky timing of the DD is instant death on supports.
Each of the Princes are fairly crazy in their own right, and then the Princess is no longer a mob to be hunted by XPing circuit groups. Belithan is the one exception where he is bulkier than the LB mobs via resistances, but while being less of a threat to kill is not worth killing because of time vs reward.
But not asking for nerfs. Do not want nerfs. Just proportional feathers/loot to the trouble. Very few are willing to kill these mobs because in addition to being hard as shit in some cases they are very spread out and give far less than the circle of mobs you can instead kill around the lake half asleep.
Giving the set drops that a bunch of these mobs have some love wouldn't hurt either. It's not late lv40's killing this stuff. The 93% quality armor never gets worn, procless weapons don't see any use
+The minibosses in PoC are fine except for the amount and respawn time of junk separating them. The time getting to them offsets the feather benefit leaving them too largely ignored
