Many people run into problems that they can not play phoenix daoc on an old computer from their father, mother, brother, sister etc if they played phoenix daoc as well, since the computer is already bound to an existing account.

I suggest to let us use a computer (b), which is already bound to an account (b), to be used with account (a).
Make it so if you did not use computer (b) to login to phoenix for 60 days you can use that computer with another account (a).

Computer (b) is then bound to be used with account (a) (only).

would appreciate some expiry for the pc after whatever period of time. Normally only one upgrades the pc here and hands down some parts.

Would love to see some sort of a system implemented by which to allow PC's to be unlinked from an account and linked to a new one. Have a perfectly good laptop that no one can use because it's locked to another account already.

I would make sense to have something like this really. Think of it this way, anytime you upgrade, you have to give the upgrade to someone else haha that does not seem logical, especially families with kids or significant others playing. But If i were to get a new computer, log in and play with it, if I let the other computer sit for 60 days without logging in once, it should be able to get reset so someone else can use it.

I dont have this problem, I am the only one that plays in my house, but at the same time, I understand the frustration.

I don't personally have this problem because I don't know anyone else IRL who plays, but it's probably the harshest rule I've ever seen for an online game. I mean, you could literally buy a computer from someone to play DAoC on and suddenly find out that you will never, ever be allowed to play on the computer you just bought. That's bizarre.

In fairness, I'm guessing the harshness of this rule is related to not having anywhere near the resources required to manage the shared accounts issue any other way, which is understandable. It's probably not likely to change for the same reason.
