2nd range check on DDs

I left DAOC around 1.68 and just got back into it with Phoenix. Played a ton of RM back in the day. I recall not having the second range check on DDs. Two LOS checks but no second range check if my memory serves me

Afaik it's always been like that. Pets however do not.
