Hello, I think this feature should stay exactly as it is. Because I do not want to spend my time with weeks of work to pull up a Legendary. What do you all mean?

Until someone has a valid reason to make crafting slow, I think they should stay the same also.

/train, hasteners, starting as your main class...ALL these are QoL improvements and are good for the game. Exactly why is crafting times different? How in the world does fast crafting times hurt the game? I would argue fast salvaging times are worse for the game then crafting times...

The crafting timers are fun for those who wants to make their template and get going in to RvR ASAP and I am all for that because I love RVR. What it really hurts, is the economy of the game.

I will not begin a rant claming economy is "the most important factor of the success of a MMO game" (it is a stupid argument and I am just trying to bring that argument to it's grave), but I will argue that the value of crafting has a BIG impact on the economy, which again is a part that funds the players to be able to make more and intricate templates for their characters.

Don't get me wrong, crafting is hella boring in Daoc, but it is a necessity to bolster and keep a stable economy so I get why they want to increase the craft timers.

I think the craft timers should stay exactly as they are. When it comes to the player economy, ROGs should fuel the economy now. Alchemy is basically a requirement to be able to be competitive in RVR, and feathers aren't exactly easy to get.

If they plan on increasing the craft time, then I think the devs should consider making feathers easier to acquire for solo players who can't make it on raids. Even 1 feather would make more sense than it does now. And ROGs? Well, in the beta, the market isn't exactly bolstering with items on the housing market. Getting a template is harder than people lead on about, especially if you're stuck playing in the off hours like I am.

I agree, it adds nothing to the game making it take longer. People will still do it if you make it take longer, its just wasting peoples time that could be spent doing something meaningful. Sorry to the 5 shlomo shekelsteins out there that want to spend their life crafting to make money, you don't really matter in the grand scheme of things anyways.

i voted for staying like that, is really easy to do money with actual crafter so is not really an real argument and many player will not craft anymore for other player after this change (me for example) many player that is not upping craft, dont have a lot of money etc will not me sc anymore after this change

Might be abrupt but this puts it pretty blunt.

The crafting change is beyond frustrating and anyone with a tiny bit of common sense would realize this does nothing at all but make people sit in town longer to craft. It adds no unique game play what so ever and only slows down individuals that are not in guilds who have been around for years. People like myself who just want to RvR are held back by feathers and now increased crafting times. For what? Nothing.

Lets think about this with our brains. You are a crafter. You want to make items. Oh look your on the losing faction. You dont own any keeps. You dont have DF, and now because you lack keeps your crafting time is slower than the other realms. So now you have some decisions to make. The people that lack any thought process might say,

"This system is good because those crafters will say, "Rvr raid to take keeps for crafting time increase!"

First of all, just typing that sentence was hard, because its so stupid to even think someone would have that mind set. They are a crafter. They dont want to fight. They are on the losing side already. Meaning the chances of taking a keep are few and far between. BUT WAIT. Lets for shits and giggles entertain this stupid thought. Lets say this crafter was an idiot and decided to form that rvr keep taking raid. He spends 30-45 minutes forming raid in /lfg. He spends another 30 minutes waiting for everyone to gather. Now he goes to take a keep and hopes that he can take it in good time. If he fails he will waste 2+ hours of his time.

However if the guy wasnt a moron he would have just stayed in town and hit the craft queue macro and just waited longer for the crafting to finish. Why? Because he still gets done faster than trying to raid a keep. The risk versus reward for this system is not there and never will be.

PVE bonuses for RvR? GTFO with that garbage and acually give RvR incentives to RvR and maybe...i know this is hard...RVR rewards!

PVE and Crafting on this server should be at a minimum. The feather drop rates versus item prices were bad enough as is. Forcing people into PVE longer is not fun. Now you add cosmetic items for BP. Great! RVR rewards right!? Nope. You get 22 BP points per kill. But oh look at that! You can exchange feathers for BP at a better rate than farming them in RvR. So PVE wins yet again. You get more feathers from PvE than taking a keep.

Now crafting bonuses for RvR?

Is this a PVE server? I have to ask. At this rate everyone is just going to be in a dungeon farming feathers instead of RvRing. This is turning out to be worse and worse for the future of RvR on phoenix.

I actually considered levelling a crafting skill come live because of the timers and macros.

Macros more importantly but timers to a small extent... maybe they don’t need to be 1s short but the max should be 10s without reduction from realm bonuses and gear.

No reason for the long timers like on live servers. 1 sec x crafting tier is plenty (i.e. max of 10 sec per craft attempt). There are still only going to be a limited percentage of people willing to get LGM crafters in one craft, much less all of them. It's still a massive plat and time sink even with short timers

Could someone explain how this feature works now? I have not been crafting in the beta.
