There were no mounts in classic daoc so I doubt they will enable those! Stable master horses are free to use tho!

Not sure if they have made a final decision on it yet but below is one of Uthred's comments. If they decide on Mounts they will only be usable in PvE. I am not sure if they have commented on the speed of the horse.

What Aincrad said. Mounts may be added at some later point and if so, they will usable in PvE only.
