I figure the answer is yes to this, but I was just hoping for official confirmation. If the information has been posted anywhere, I am not aware of it and would love a link from a friendly forumgoer.

Nope, we cant tell you any estimated time yet. the more people help testing in beta, the faster we will be ready for launch. As soon as we have an date for release, we will publish it.

Basically you play the game trying to break it. it is much better that it breaks during Beta and you discover things that are broken than if it happens after launch.

Try to fuck with the merchants. try to abuse trading. Mess around with stack sized and swapping item slots and screwing with the UI. This is the best way to find dupes and loot bugs which can DESTOY a server if it is not found early.

Thanks for the input. Im also assuming that means trying to focus on one class so we can test high end content and trying to do quests to see if they are bugged? Or at least thats what i gathered. LOOK for bugs in mundane places

Interact with merchants and players to see if there are any bugs that result in the player obtaining more gold than advertised. For example, a process that allows the player to sell an item more than once, or a process that allows the player to duplicate an item.

Interact with quest givers to make sure that the player cannot get double rewards by completing (or turning in) the quest two times.

Kill monsters in various group sizes and double check the math for rewards.

etc...
