I understand this was in during this patch level, but will this be changed to stop pets nuking/hitting people out of stealth, or is it here to stay?

I hope it stays, even reported to the main Dev that it wasn't ingame few weeks ago.
We did some tests, but i don't know if properly implented yet.

Want to have fun and test it with me ? (with different level pet range ?)
On uthgard they tried to add it to the game, but red/purple had the same detection range as a level 10 grey druid pet, it was retarded...
The question isn't : will it be in game, the question is : can we test it properly to have a decent behavior at the release ?

It's working as of this last weekend for me. Set my pet on a ranger 2 different times on the SM and it chased him while stealthed and popped him out for me.

I have another view, was playing a ranger and cabby set a pet on me, when i managed to stealth the pet returned.

There is a tether range that the pet will not continue passed (or it will auto release? I forget), or he just told it to come back
