Why is Ignore Pain broken?

During a fight with an infiltrator, I used Ignore Pain 3. It only healed me for 175 hit points and then told me I was fully healed. I only got about 4% of my health back rather than 50% like it's supposed to do.

Please fix this. It's very broken.

Uhm... maybe you actually *were* fully healed by then? Sounds to me as if a heal-proc might have healed you before or you used Legion and then IP just did the last little bit to what was needed. Probably you got a ton of damage just after using IP, so it looked to you, like you only got back 4%.

Because that message of "fully healed" just should mean one thing, you are at 100% health, at the second IP was used.

Apart from that. you know that 175 would be 4% of 4375 hitpoints... i doubt you got that.

clip it so we can see what actually went down

my guess is that you purged rather early and you got hit by enervating again before you pressed IP

I ended up relogging, and then IP 3 healed for 763 hits this time. And I did purge and hit IP right after. I have 2000 hitpoints normally,
That's only 38% of health not 50%.

I think something is seriously broken with Ignore Pain now.

This isn't the first time where after logging in after a server reboot for some change that my stats or the mechanics of the way my toon worked were broken or impaired.
Once a month or so ago, I relogged to find later (after fighting a NS and I got perfed for 525 even with ablative up) that my con, str and dex were -100 of what they should have been (and that was with full self-buffs, and CF and ablative up). Also the stats my player normally had for things not for my class (charisma, intelligence, etc) that were normally a baseline 60 were only 1.

Relogging fixed that, too.
Maybe I just just log in, then relog every time there's been a server reboot otherwise something is really wrong with my account.

Anyway, if Ignore Pain is going to be nerfed or something (if that is the intention) then I am not going to bother playing Hunter anymore.
Substandard melee damage, coupled with people having more hitpoints and ranged damage not having as much effect.. it doesn't make sense to keep playing
if I am just fodder to assassins that have all the toys at their disposal: disease, weapon skill debuff, massive str/con debuff, snare, attack speed reduction, and unlimited weapon swaps... and I swing a spear which they evade between 27-37% of the time (depending on whether I could get a pet out to cut the evade rate by 10%) or misses, or whatever.

So where are the proofs?
You should upload screenshots of the combat log to make it more credible.
If you don't, you already know devs won't be interested.

The fix is the QOL stealth they state they did, but someone obviously wanted to make sure sins had little challenge by always being able to line up PA/BS with the archers having little time for their openers. If they would just make stealth the same or allow (as before) archers to see at a further distance with MOS it would add balance back into the system; which favors assassins as they lost nothing, but kept see hidden.

On the IP; IP only works with your baseline hps not buffed hps. It always worked that way once Mythic added the % health vs 100%. To increase the amount healed you have to increase your baseline HPS (toughness and augconstitution)

I notice rarely that my necro pet's hp is taking large chunks of % from relatively small damage. Relogging resolves the problem but I don't know what causes it or what exactly is occurring apart from obvious missing hitpoints on the pet only.

I normally run some amount of Toughness so it is either the RA bonus is not being applied or the item bonus (CON) was not being applied, or both

Some people run into issue of crit RA not working but I've never noticed that being the case for me though I wasn't looking for crits or lack of while the pet was being burned down by small damages, and wasn't really landing dd spells in lieu of the pet dying too quickly

-point being if some source of hitpoints was not being applied correctly your IP will be tiny, whether it's a bug or by debuff
