Vital Changes Notification losing Chars/Items/Money

Hi,

I would like to know how you will handle vital changes like where you can lose Chars/Items/Money.
On Uthgard in 2013 they decided to do some changes to the rent payment on short notice and my guild lost the guild house including all our platin in the CM.
The house was not the problem, but the platin ... so we quit this server immediatly and will never return!

Items in vaults will go to repossession merchants as they always have. Money on the CM will be lost.
Again, on live, as soon as you close your account you have 60 days to repo. We have no account closing here, so this is the solution we opted to take.

Can this happen here to?

The house rent is payed from your CM market explorer npc so I doubt you lost platin you just paid the rent till you were broke.

i dont know what happened on uthgard, but the quote from abydos refers to the loss of a plot/house when your account is closed for more than 60days on live. Regardless of rent being payed. So i assume they did an alternative "activity"-check to release houses and that fucked someone over.

Exactly that was changed. So as long as your Merchant had trades and money everything is running almost by itself - as long as you have merchandise to sell.

Tahts why I'am asking if changes that can have such impact losing Chars/Items/Money are communicated on long term (at least 6 month) before put into action.
