What are the chances of not showing the character's name when after mouse click? Hide all player and character names of the opposing realms. Yes? No?

I was going to say the opposite and have the title and name as on higher rr live.

High RR players will just go straight for the low RR every time, in multiple, just like live. It's a great system if you play a lot and have a high RR. The casual player, with limited play time, will get ganged up on every time he gets near a battle.

I think hiding the players name and rank would benefit the server greatly. The really good players will excel regardless. New and low RR players will be able to contribute without dying nearly instantly.

Are you suggesting the name is hidden only on click or in all cases?

I guess either way I disagree. One of the most fun parts of RvRing (as a solo/small man player at least) is getting to know your opponents. It’s fun knowing which ones are skilled, which ones are honorable, which ones are trash, etc. I enjoy developing rivalries and “friendships” with certain players— it makes the frontiers seem that much more alive and engaging.

I’m actually really hoping that the devs open up a subforum for @ posts. A little banter and toxicity amongst enemies makes RvRing that much more satisfying.

I don’t really understand your point about players jumping on lower RR players. Won’t they just jump on everyone regardless? What is this hypothetical scenario, exactly? Timers here are thirty minutes and there is a good chance the realm rank difference doesn’t matter all that much outside of some passive stats and +skills.

IMHO that would benefit high RRs more than low RRs.

I recently tried to solo a bit with my hero. Him being RR7, I got dodged by 3 other solos in a row, who all had speed up while mine had expired.

I imagine the same being the case for low RR stealthers. If they see an lone RR1 melee somewhere, they might want to attack, but stay hidden in face of high RR characters. You would take that away from them.

I don't see high RRs not attacking other high RRs and focussing on low RRs instead.

Considerig all this, I kindly vote no, as I also like knowing my enemies and sometimes even seeking them on phoenix discord and chat a bit

It really depends on what your current role is in RvR. If you're out solo ganking then sure, you'll avoid the high ranked players and go for the ones with less RR. However if you're in group play and let's say you are in a DPS or interrupt role you should always run past the enemy tanks and hit those wiggly finger types regardless of their RR.
