Strafing bug

Hello,

I was rifeling through the banned page burning some time with all this server issue stuff and saw that someone for banned for "Strafing bug abuse" what is that exactly? I know people used to strafe a lot to side stun (I hated it). Is that what they are talking about?

strafing in melee has never been a bug but a skill, intended since the first day of daoc, it involves timing and reaction to land positional styles. even the devs have said so on numerous occasions in and out of game.

the strafing bug you're referring to is something i don't really want to explain but involves making yourself completely disappear which is bannable
