Stealth detection: detetection check time

Hi i like to know what is the timer for stealth detection.
im asking that because i figureed as a hunter(archer) if you run towards an assassin you can not detect them quick enough to avoid a PA. but if you run behind them or side by side the range is somewhat ok and you can react to it like turning away to avoid a PA.

well this is not really confusing me because i know of the doppler effect. but for the whole archer vs assassin issue im discussing in another thread (https://forum.playphoenix.online/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4678) it could be a solution if the detection check time would be reduced so that an archers running towards an assassin can detect the assassin at those 125 locs and not just when the assassin perferoms his PA.

What is the time between each stealth check? Don't know, but the why you sort of answered yourself:
- You (archer) run towards an (unmoving) Assassin. You are disadvantaged by both their detection range AND the stealth doppler effect.
- You (archer) run towards an Assassin moving towards you. You are still disadvantaged, but less so, because the doppler effect for each of you cancel out, so just their detection range is better.
You (archer, unmoving) face an Assassin moving towards you. You will both see each other closer together than either of the other scenarios, but who would see first and by how much is very hard to test and dependent on movement speed, time between each stealth check, and probably the ping of both players to the server.

Interesting things

the why yes... but the issue itself is not the range iteself but the detection checks. if it wolud check more often archers would have a better chance to actually react to an assassin runnign towards them
