Will all 3 realms have access to all 3 spec buffs from charge items? I know SI solves most of this, but will Mid have spec AF and alb spec str/con? Sorry if this is obvious but allakhazam has been down and struggling to find info
Alb does have a Str/con spec charge item in SI. I cannot recall its name, but it does exist and I expect it to be in.
I am unaware of a Mid Spec AF SI item, but that is just because I do not personally know of it. I would not be surprised if one existed.
Edit: When I say 'I expect it to be in' this is not me giving a demand to the staff, just that if SI is in at launch I expect it will probably be there as it is part of the SI expansion.
How cheap will the items be that provide buffs? Would I need to grind PVE a significant amount of time to afford these items? If so, wouldn't that give a PVP edge to people that spend more time in PVE? .. I can't say that I like PVE influencing PVP in such a big way.
Yes the items will be expensive. The reason for this is because they are so influential and strong in RvR.
Unfortunately, if you are not willing to put in the time to PVE to get the items/platinum necessary for your template, then you will not be as strong as you could be in RvR. That is just the way it is. It's how DAoC has always been and it is good for the game.
There are lots of people who are not hugely into RvR, but they love PvE. These people are great for the health of the server as they provide stable population and help the economy. They also make it CHEAPER for people who only want to RvR by continually farming these strong items.
But the reality is my friend that gear aquired in PvE has always impacted RvR in a big way. That will never change.
