A guild member and I have a disagreement on Necromancer mechanics, and would like some clarification if at all possible.
I contend that shade-cast spells queue between pet swings, with a maximum of two spells in the queue for the shade, and two spells in the queue for the pet; so that if you have enough dexterity and Mastery of the Art you can get two lifetaps off between your pet's swings.
He contends that dexterity buffs are pointless on the shade, because it cannot cast more than one spell per attack cycle.
Am I right? Is he right? Are we both wrong?
