Question about command \range and acuity

Hi, I have some doubts and I wanted to see if you can solve them:
1.- The command \range is used to see the distance between the mob and me, but when using it it tells me something "this command can only be used on objects" or something like that, there is another command to see the distance between the mob and me?
2.- In some objects I have seen that the acuity is there and I don't know what the effect is, does it increase intelligence, piety or something else? Does it influence the damage or accuracy of spells?

I ask why I have a magic class
Thank you

I dont know the answer about /range, but I do know that acuity on a list caster goes to the casting stat, so in Albion and Hib it would be intelligence, Mid would be Piety,.

Acuity on an item you wear will increase whatever the casting stat is for that character.

I guess to avoid automation (chat parsing), /range has been limited to world objects.
You can work with /groundset and /gtrange to work with ranges for testing purposes.

Thanks for responding, I have tried removing and putting the item but I see that the stats are not modified, for example, when I put an item of intelligence increases the mana, I think it only increases the damage without giving mana or maybe it makes it caster faster spells without increasing stats, I don't know

Thanks for answering, I have tried the commands you mention and if it works, but it almost comes out the same as without using it, I explain, if the mob does not walk if it works, but if the mob walks then I have to calculate visually if it is behind or ahead of the floor brand and sometimes I fail, well, thank you, I prefer to do it to the old school to calculate it visually, it hurts that there are bots on the server that affect those that if we play well, thanks and greetings

Acuity depends on your character.
For example a blademaster, hunter or armsman do not gain anything from it.

For any hib and alb caster, acuity equals intelligence.
For mid it equals piety.
For hibernia support classes it equals either empathy or charisma.
For alb support classes it equals piety or charisma.

It is completely clear, thank you very much

To dovetail what Ashok said just have a macro set up with your effective ranges. For a Spellcaster this is typically /groundset 1500, macro it to a key, and to make it even easier put it next to your /face key, or macro the two together. For extra assuredness subtract 50 from your max range to account for some movement or server lag, so 1450 for a caster, for example
