Phoenix and Necro pets

I know when Necs first ever went in the game I had one, and after that point for a few years the stats all changed in the relationship between the owner and the pet. It used to be that base stats on the caster would transfer over to the pet, then that changed. You could be fully buffed by a cleric and that transferred over, then that changed. This included self stats (dex, str, etc..), and also slot stats as well.

I guess my question is, when Phoenix goes live, what is the relationship now between the caster and the pet? Thanks for any info!

What would be nice is if we had a Wiki page that had a lot of information on class mechanics and everything concerning the game. Something like the Project99 Wiki for Everquest classic. That site covers everything in the game, all spells, classes, races, and whatnot. One section should be about the necromancer class and how it is SUPPOSED to work on Phoenix as we currently don't know and thus can't tell if something is a bug or working as intended...this is the same for a multitude of classes, abilities, and behavior. Having a Wiki that spells out how it will work once implemented fully would be a vast help for the community and especially help any new players to DAOC that don't have a clue about game or class mechanics.

I can't state what it is right now as I haven't played one, but here's what it SHOULD be:

The only stats that transfer from the Necromancer PRIOR TO SUMMON are Hits and Con. After summoning, the necro no longer needs Con/hits in the equipped items and can swap to a suit that maxes Dexterity, Intelligence and REsistances. Since we're not in TOA we can forget about things like Cast Speed, Spell Damage, etc.

When buffing the Pet, Constitution buffs don't increase the pets total health but rather, since it's a Mob, it raises its Absorb. The Toughness RA DOES increase it's total Hitpoints and depending on what Realm Abilities are in place, Old RA Toughness is considerably more potent than New RA Toughness.
