Pets and buff potions

Hello all! I Would like to know why necromancer pets get the buffs from buff potions if evoked after the option is used meanwhile druid pet doesn't benefit from buff potions. Is this work as intended ?

If you can't see whats the difference between a necro-pet and any other pet, in the whole game, is...then i really don't know where to start
